Date Night (and Days...) With My City

The Curly Rosens took full advantage of our beautiful city this weekend.  We visited the Palace of Fine Arts and the Presidio on Saturday with dear friends.

We ate delicious cheeses and drank fantastic wine with even more dear friends in an impromptu party that evening.  Does everyone agree that Freddy is the love child of Chad and Patrick?

We stuffed ourselves with pizza from Tony's Napoletano, a gem of a restaurant right near our apartment.

On Sunday, we toasted the Golden Gate Bridge and watched the amazing fireworks show from Aquatic Park.  Freddy didn't mind the noise and crowds too much.

Our adventures continued on Monday with a trip over the Bridge to Rodeo Beach, the Marin Headlands, and Cavallo Point.  We played fetch with Freddy, we hiked, we devoured delicious food and drinks at Cavallo.  It doesn't get any better.

There are times when I am ready to say goodbye to San Francisco city living.  My commute is long, the weather can be icy, it's impossible to park, and I never quite seem able to see my busy friends as much as my soul would like.  After a weekend like ours, however, I can't imagine ever leaving.  Thanks for wooing me again, San Francisco.
